Digital Print (iGen 150) Operator

The Digital Print (iGen 150) Operator is responsible for all aspects of operating large format digital printing equipment to Imagine! Express’ production and quality standards, within budget and on time. Daily activity will include material handling and finishing as assigned.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operates digital presses including Digital Press iGen150.
  • Understands and follows work order direction. Questions to the point of clarity, as necessary.
  • Produces product to spec, within budget, and in expected timeframe.
  • Operates equipment in accordance with manufacturer and Imagine! Express’ standards on various substrates, within quality expectations, in a safe manner.
  • Accounts for material consumed on job by job basis
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance functions to insure optimal printing conditions.
  • Monitors output quality throughout whole course of a run.
  • Maintains a clean work area.
  • Follows all safety protocols.
  • Assists other print operators in material handling as necessary.
  • Deals with customers and clients in a professional and polite manner as needed.
  • 5S – Lean – Continuous Improvement
  • Willingness to work in other departments as needed – cross train
  • Works overtime when needed.
  • Performs other tasks as required.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Mac and Windows Operating Systems

Warehouse Inventory Coordinator

The Warehouse Inventory Coordinator is responsible for managing Imagine Express’ warehouse and distribution of materials throughout the building.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages warehouse inventory and material distribution processes
  • Ensures accuracy of warehouse inventory
  • Completes inventory cycle counts
  • Creates and maintains efficient work flow of warehouse space
  • Oversees the receipt and delivery of materials entering or leaving the warehouse
  • Establishes schedules pertaining to materials services functions
  • Evaluates space utilization and suggests methods for improving layout
  • Maintains a clean and safe warehouse area
  • Processes transactions utilizing manual and/or RF technology and/or by identifying items on a paper pick ticket according to bin location, part number, and/or description, or other method used within facility.
  • Moves materials in and out of the facility
  • Enforces quality standards
  • Prepares and maintains accurate records
  • Other duties as assigned

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Minimum of three years warehouse and inventory management experience preferred
  • General knowledge of modern warehouse and inventory practices

Industrial Sewing

The Industrial Sewer will complete all stitching/sewing and hand-finishing processes for the completion of fabric jobs.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Tape, sew, stitch and finish fabric jobs.
  • Work with production to minimize defective material.
  • Assure that all work areas are kept clean, neat and orderly.
  • Follows all safety protocols.
  • Works overtime as needed.
  • Performs other duties as requested.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and previous experience in the sewing industry.
  • Experience on industrial sewing machines required.
  • Experience in the printing industry is preferred.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Basic measuring skills in both Standard and Metric units.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Frequent reaching, bending and sitting.
  • Ability to use foot or knee controls of industrial sewing machines
  • Manual dexterity
Project Manager

The Project Manager is responsible for taking in incoming jobs from the sales staff and becomes the key person processing these jobs. This person will organize and review each job thoroughly and carefully, compare the job to the corresponding estimate, prepare the project for the production provide in-house support for the sales force whenever a customer has a question or requires information, and should maintain open lines of communication between customers, sales, and the plant on all jobs-in-progress.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Receive job from Sales Rep, Lead, or customer. Compare with estimate and discuss any differences.
  • Tracks job through production and communicate any problems and changes to plant personnel, Sales Reps and customers.
  • Keeps accurate records on all jobs and customer contacts, so both company and customer are protected should questions arise later.
  • Verify orders for compatibility, suitability, and prevention of potential manufacturing issues.
  • Ensure client priorities are met by proactively managing orders and providing accurate and timely follow up on all client requests.
  • Actively support the customer service team in advancing the quality and service capabilities of the department.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 2+ years of experience working in print production environments, specializing in print & kitting/fulfillment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Detailed track record of successful supplier management, negotiation, and procurement of complex print/kitting projects.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Well organized.
  • Ability to work with little to no direction or supervision, and to be a collaborative team player.
  • Meticulous in day to day activities.
  • Ability to clearly verbalize complications and potential resolutions or escalations.
  • Adaptability to change.
  • Must be thorough and detail oriented.
  • Good time management, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and manage stress.
Kitting Line Lead

The Line Lead is responsible for a kitting job from beginning to end.  This involves leading and instructing General Worker’s and Temporary employees in running and completing the job accurately and on time.  In addition, completing any necessary paperwork related to the jobs.

SHIFT:  Monday – Friday, 3:30pm – 12:00am

  • Direct employees to finish kit while also reporting to Supervisor for next kitting assignment. This includes delegating duties to other employees on the line to ensure that the next kit is ready to run.
  • Assign tasks to General Workers to help keep Line flowing, as well as help them advance.
  • Make necessary adjustments during kitting process to keep lines moving as efficiently as possible without jeopardizing quality.
  • Ensure accuracy and proficiency on their kitting line.
  • Report to Supervisor if issues occur regarding temps or other employees.
  • Respect and cooperate with individuals and assist others in reaching objectives.
  • Follow all safety rules/regulations, company procedures and policies.
  • Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas.
  • Continually strive to learn and improve all processes.
  • Instruct, coach and support personnel in performance of their job descriptions while running small kits.

Skills AND Knowledge:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of lead experience in production line environments.
  • Basic mathematics skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of whole numbers and fractions.
  • Reliability though attendance, punctuality and attention to work station.
  • Strong problem solving, decision-making and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to provide work direction to and train employees.
  • Strong communication skills including the ability to work well with both line employees and management.
  • Ability to communicate/understand written as well as oral instructions.
