How to use: By creating a Google Alert, you can get email notifications any time Google finds new results on a topic that interests you.

2. Google Keyword Planner

Purpose: Better understand customer search behaviors. The Keyword Planner is a more focused version of the Google Keyword Tool and AdWords Traffic Estimator tool, and the focus is to make it easier for advertisers to get through the process of creating new ad groups and ad campaigns.

How to use: You need to have a Google Adwords account to use Google Keyword Planner tool. Enter your target Keyword that you want to start searching for. After that, you can add filters such as for which country you want to target your keywords.

3. Canva

Purpose: Canva is the visual creator tool to have on hand. Canva is primarily free to use, although there are options to upgrade your account that include additional features and templates. Their ready-made templates will help you create professional visuals with little to no design background.

How to use: Design presentations, social media graphics and more with thousands of beautiful layouts, fonts, and images.

4. Google Analytics

Purpose: Google Analytics does pretty much everything in terms of tracking the traffic to your website. It’s a huge, monstrous amount of info, generously given away for free.

How to use: Google Analytics allows marketers to see traffic from the different networks and check engagement times by looking at Time on Page.
